RHLL BASEBALL PLAYER EVALUATIONS
ALL 8 YR OLD BASEBALL PLAYERS MUST ATTEND OR WILL HAVE TO PLAY ROOKIES INSTEAD.
It is very important the player demonstrate the ability to play in this division to both evaluating managers and board members. Safety of all players is one of the most important things in Little League and RHLL reserves the right to refuse any 8 year old player from playing in AA.
RHLL SOFTBALL PLAYER EVALUATION/RATING SCHEDULE FOR 2026 - ALL SESSIONS WILL BE AT AVONDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL MAIN GYM
Our softball player evaluations for player pitch divisions are on 3/7 and 3/14 at Avondale Middle School in the Main gym. Each player will throw, field grounders and popups and hit off a tee. Those players who would like to pitch in RHLL this year will also throw 3-5 pitches. We have designated the following time intervals for these age groups. Remember that your child's LL age is based on how old they are on 12/31/25. You are able to schedule your specific time slot by using the sign up link designated for each age group. Please click on it to select your date and time within your designated time interval. You only need to sign up for one time slot on either date.
Please show up at the check in desk 10 minutes before your scheduled time on either 3/7 or 3/14.
RHLL Spring '26 Softball Evaluations
- Majors Division (11 - 14 year olds) is a draft league where managers pick players based on their evaluation score and overall team needs. Each Majors Softball player must attend one of the two evaluations. Average participation time is about 4 mins. Those dates are:
March 7 - 10am -12pm
March 14 - 11am - 12pm

- Minors Division (8-10 year olds) is a hybrid league where we try to honor requests to be on a certain team (i.e due to school, friends, manager, etc) but ultimately to have competitive balance, especially at the Pitcher position. Each of our Minors players must attend one of the two evaluations Average participation time is about 3 mins. Those dates are:
March 7 - 12pm - 1pm
March 14 - 12pm - 2pm
